Invest in Pritchard

Pritchard is an unincorporated area located 15 kilometres west of one of the region's major city centres, Chase, along the Trans Canada Highway. In addition to Chase, Pritchard lies on 39 kilometres east of the region's largest city centre, Kamloops. The area's population is approximately 2,000.

The community straddles the Thompson River and is surrounded by agricultural land, much of which is used to produce ginseng. Stables are also a significant part of the local economy offering lessons, boarding facilities and trail rides. Tourism also plays a vital role in the local economy as tourists travel to the area to in summer months to visit the Pritchard Provincial Park.

Pritchard is home to a service station and a general store that provide a range of products and services including gas, propane, liquor agent, postal service and groceries. The community is also home to the Pritchard Rodeo Grounds and community hall, both heavily utilized by residents. Generally, residents of the area use Chase as their primary source for services.
