Invest in Paul Lake - Pinantan

British Columbia, Canada

The Paul Lake and Pinantan areas, both home to stunning lake shore settings, are located, respectively, 25 and 30 kilometres northeast of Kamloops, the largest city in the TNRD. Pinantan Lake is a small community, which is home to a general store, a resort, an elementary school and approximately 800 residents.

The lake itself is actually two parts, usually referred to as Big Pinantan and Little Pinantan. It is a small lake that only allows electric motors.

The more popular activities enjoyed while visiting Paul or Pinantan Lake are boating, swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, kayaking, birdwatching, camping, mountain biking and sightseeing. In fact, the area plays host to an Father's Day Fishing Derby.

Between the communities of Paul Lake and Pinantan Lake is the Paul Lake Provincial Park, set in the forest, away from the sights and sounds of the city. This park is centred around a beautiful site of Paul Lake and has a 7 kilometre hiking trail, a campground, a boat launch and 400 metres of white sandy beach.

Ranching, farming and tourism currently continue to provide significant economic support and agricultural opportunities for the area.
